The only thing good I can say is it was quiet. The floor was sticky. The bed was hard and when I turned on the light to go to the bathroom a roach crawled into the door frame! Never again.

I was disappointed that it was concrete around the entire hotel. For being “dog friendly” the only grassy area is in front by the road. The hot breakfast exceeded my expectations. The staff was nice and room clean. Location was easy on and off the freeway.

The rooftop bar watching the racetrack was amazing. The complementary wine hour was a nice bonus! Plenty of gated grass in the front. The shuttle to the airport was perfect. Since they don’t charge a pet fee, I didn’t mind the parking fee. I will stay again.

This hotel was overpriced for the one Saturday night we stayed. I expected better for over $200.

It had a nice potty field in the back and it wasn’t very crowded. The breakfast was better than expected. Would stay again.

The staff upon arrival was great! The room was clean and plenty of grass for our dog to potty. It is really close to the freeway so request a room on the other side.

A very old and run down motel in a very sketchy location. I was misguided by some of the other reviews that made it seem like a good value, so I made a reservation to stay there. Having serious concerns when I saw the motel’s outside appearance, as soon as I walked into the room I knew I’d made a major mistake (absolutely everything about the room was horrible—it looked like a room from the movie Hostel) and wanted to cancel my reservation. The manager refused to refund my money, but I didn’t want to stay in that awful place, so BringFido found another hotel for me that was very nice, and only $20 more that the crummy EconoLodge. Please don’t believe that you’re getting a great value by staying here, Roanoke has plenty of other hotels that might cost a few dollars more but are a safer choice for your comfort and safety in the long run.

It was pet friendly and the room was clean. The grassy area outside had a shopping cart in it and people out on the bench all night smoking.
