I wasn't expecting a lot for the price but it pleasantly surprised me. The dining hall was great, rustic and the staff was wonderful. When you go, GET THE POTROAST! OMG! The best I've ever had, so tender. The thing I wish they would update, and I realize it's a historic inn, is to remove the carpet and laminate the floors. It's a pet friendly inn with a great rate for a pet (they charge $25 for the WEEK) not per night. And with that in mind, carpets can hold a lot of stuff, and I think laminate would be easier to keep clean with pets. Overall, a comfortable stay, wonderful staff and the complimentary coffee/bakery was a nice touch. I was even able to purchase that wonderful potroast dinner for 2 to take home. I'll be seeing y'all again.
