Bell Rock is our vet
Bell Rock Veterinary ClinicI feel like the staff is full of empathy and my vet Dr Jarvis was very researched - she suggested adding egg shells to Shimmer’s home cooked kidney diet meals. That was something I was researching. She also took the time to solve the medical mystery with Stella’s bladder and found the tumor on ultrasound. I don’t like that it is a bit far and she is not open on weekends (one bone off). but overall she is very good!!

Our senior dogs were able to do this!!
Fay Canyon TrailNice and Flat. Well groomed. The only major hurdle are the erosion rock barriers along the way. Mom wanted a hike for her birthday and even the senior pups obliged! We skipped the rock scrabble at the end and did “turnouts” when the trail was busy but wow what a beautiful memorable day. Lots of picture opportunities and weather break areas.!! Good for the kids too I hear.

Westins are always dog friendly
The Westin San Diego Gaslamp QuarterWhenever I travel I stay at a Westin because they are dog friendly. One of my favorite memories is staying at the Westin in Irvine for business. And little Blizzard being taken on the luggage cart through the lobby like the queen she was. Heavenly dog beds. Dishware. And Heavenly human beds. Great wine list as well. Thank you Westin.

We felt very secure
Poco Diablo ResortI was happy to hear the maid will not come in the room with pets unannounced. That made us feel safe. A fun gift bag with cookies for our pup upon check in. And great grassy pet areas and beautiful rock firepit area for mom and her wine. Was perfect
