South Lake Union location is amazing!
Portage Bay CafeAbsolutely delicious! And service was friendly and so prompt. We are in town for a few days and are planning to fit in another visit so we can taste more of their menu. We also were able to bring our small dog and sit on the patio with her! They have space heaters and blankets to make patio dining very comfortable. Quincy gave it two paws up!
Welcoming and Sticker-free Grass!
Hotel Encanto de Las CrucesWe tried so hard to find good grass in the area and kept finding stickers that poked and hurt her paws. Hotel E has sticker-free grass out front. Both times, they put us on the ground floor, which was awesome for easy potty trips with a young puppy. The grass area is on an incline, but there’s plenty of space for a comfortable potty. We have stayed here twice with our dog. The most recent, we opted for the Puppy Package room, which was supposed to waive the pet fee and include a bowl, toy, treats, potty bag, and blanket. It was $65 more than the base rate (base $135) we saw online, but the fee was going to be $75, so we went for it. On check-in, they told me there was no blanket. Bowl was a small plastic bowl and the treats were two small milk bones. The squeaker toy was a hit, though. we were out in one of the older not-remodeled rooms, unlike our first visit. Stained carpet, and broken tile in the sink area of the bathroom. If we had had the same room we had the first time (remodeled) and got the blanket as advertised, we would have given 5 bones. For this area, it’s still a great spot!
Tasty Crepes and Patio with Heaters
Crepe ExpectationsWeather was chilly, but we wanted to bring our puppy and sit on the patio. They have wonderful staff who turned on some heaters to make sitting outside in chilly weather very comfortable! Puppy loved it, too!
