We had such a wonderful stop in Sterling, CO. We were passing through on our way back to Michigan. The room was spacious, our room was located on the main level and just 4 rooms from the exit. Before we left in the morning, I took the dogs (two chocolate labs) for a walk around the pond on a lovely paved path. If we pass this way again, we will definitely stop again.

What a find! We were traveling from Michigan to Telluride, CO with our 2 chocolate labs and stumbled on this little gem our first night. The middle school turned hotel was very charming and so inviting. Our room was on the first floor with easy access to the outside although we didn’t spend much time outside because it was cold. Below zero cold with a lot of wind. Wat we loved most about this place was the dogs were welcomed everywhere. We had dinner and breakfast in the Periodic Table bar and were even allowed to let them play in the gym. A legit middle school gym with lots of room to run because it was too cold outside. The dogs loved it, we loved it, and we will definitely be back (when it’s not so cold🥶).
