Treehouse is impossibly charming
The Treehouse at Oyster ClubThe Treehouse (the outdoor portion of the Oyster Club) was our #1 favorite dog-friendly find on our Mystic vacay. Impossibly charming, especially as the sun goes down and all the string lights and hanging lanterns become more prominent. There are plenty of nooks and seating options to choose from in the tiered Treehouse - from traditional tables to bistro-style bar tables to lounge-style cushioned benches with coffee tables. The staff all gave our pup lots of love, as did the other patrons. Deducted one star because the Treehouse menu is far more limited than the restaurant's, yet still pricey, despite the casual fare and presentation (paper bowls, plastic ware, and plastic wine cups). Nonetheless, the place is absolutely perfect for appetizers and drinks.
Good food, reasonable prices, & dog friendly
Jealous MonkEverything we ordered was outstanding. Perfectly-prepared salmon salad, delicious hummus platter with pita and fresh veggies, and their cornbread was to die for. Very casual setting - picnic tables, fire tables, etc. The outdoor area is substantial, though only about 5 or 6 tables are well covered/shaded and situated on pavers or trex. The rest od the tables are on dusty gravel, with minimal shade at some tables provided by umbrellas. We did not want our pup laying on dusty gravel as we were heading back to our nice AirBnB after lunch, and we didn't think he'd be very comfortable on the gravel. the witress did not offer our pup any water, and did not seem to particularly like dogs. Which was fine, we brought a little foldable bowl and shared our water with our pup. All in all a good experience.
Charming, cozy patio is perfect for bringing yourdog
Sift Bake ShopSift is absolutely adorable inside and out. The covered patio is partially enclosed, making it a safe and comfortable spot to bring your dog. Flower boxes and hanging pots full of colorful blooms enhance the charm. The sticky buns are to die for. They offer a wide array of sweet and savory baked goods, but also sandwiches and salads (we didn't try those, but they looked gorgeous). The staff also.made a pup cup for our dog.
