Our dog is an active 3 year old AmStaff mix. We decided to try out a dog friendly hotel on an overnighter near Madison and bring him. Our pup handled it well. The room was clean and putting us on the first floor worked out great. We paid the $20 insurance fee just because we didn’t know if he might scratch a wall or something. The area was safe to walk him and has a park across the street as well as a park a block away. We brought his dog bed but he didn’t need it. This was a Sunday night stay so there weren’t a lot of people in the hotel but it was very quiet and away from main roads. Our pup’s first overnighter was a success! The pet fee was only $25. I would recommend this hotel.
