Clean room with comfortable beds. First floor room near the exit. Made it so easy for potty runs! Nice green space on the side of the hotel with plenty of spaces to “sniff.” Lovely young man at the front desk when we arrived late in the evening. So welcoming. Also, right across the parking lot is a convenience store and gas pumps. Perfect!!

What a cute hotel! Very comfortable bed, and such a clean room. First floor room near the exit for potty breaks. Just what we needed!

Beautiful rooms, comfortable beds, and a nice, large, lit grassy area for potty breaks. (Even a little garden area out there!) We were put on the 1st floor toward the end of the hall near the exit which was great. Very nice hot breakfast, super nice front desk attendant. Just a great, relaxing stay. We will be back!!!

We’ve stayed twice at this hotel. It’s in a great location off I-95. There’s a gas station right across the street, and easy access to loads of restaurants and shopping at the Tanger Outlets. Super nice management. Very welcoming. Beds are a bit firm, but rooms are nice, quiet, and very clean. There’s a neighborhood right next door to walk your dog and stretch your legs. Yummy breakfast in the morning. Loved the pastries!!! Great sturdy coffee cups to go, too! We will continue to stay every time we visit our son. Thank you, La Quinta!

We were satisfied with our room. Large space with a pullout sofa, fridge, comfy beds, quiet, good shower, grassy areas for our dog, perfectly fine. Until we smelled natural gas in our room. Right by our bed. We thought we must be crazy. We’d smell it, and then it would go away. We put up with it for a few hours, hoping it would go away. We opened the window, ran an extra fan we brought, turned on the room fan, etc.

By 11:30pm I felt dizzy and developed a headache. Went down to the desk clerk and asked if there was another room we could be moved to. He said there were no rooms available. He was polite, but treated me like I’d lost my mind. Argued with me that there was no way there could be a gas leak in our room. When I returned to our room and opened the door, the gas smell was so overpowering that we were afraid to sleep in there.

Went back downstairs and told the night clerk we would have to leave the hotel seeing as though there were no rooms available. Suddenly, a room was available! Hmmm. I asked him to please come up and check out the gas smell, and he did as we were moving out. Said he couldn’t smell a thing. Seriously made us out to be nuts. It was so powerful, that he was definitely lying to us. It was insulting.

We stayed overnight in the new room, but I was so angry that if I hadn’t of pushed, he would have made us sleep in that gas filled room. Especially when there WAS a room available. Unacceptable to lie to us, and awful to endanger the health of hotel patrons. Not sure why he lied to us twice, but if you stay there, please stay out of room 202!!!

We enjoyed our stay at the Quality Inn very much! We had a first floor room next to the exit, which made potty trips quick and easy. There is a nice grassy spot across the parking lot from the hotel that has been equipped for guests with poop bags and a waste basket. It is very clean, well lit at night, and I felt safe taking our dog out by myself. Comfortable beds and a quiet room made the stay perfect. Thank you, Quality Inn!

We made our “same day” reservation very late at night, and they accommodated our need for a pet-friendly room beautifully. Although it sounds like generally the pet-friendly rooms are on the first floor, they kindly squeezed us in on the third floor. Very nice lobby staff, and a nice, hot breakfast. Pretty, well kept grounds with a lot of grass across the parking lot to sniff around on. The room was clean, large, very quiet, and met our needs just fine. The only drawback was a strong marijuana smell that was drifting from down the hall into our room. That is not the hotel’s fault though; some people just refuse to acknowledge the hotel’s rules! Very satisfactory overnight stay.

Such a cute place! The Thunderbird is a retro-styled property that will just make you smile! The bright, happy lobby area immediately puts you in a good mood. The rooms are thematically decorated, very clean, and the beds are super comfortable. There are even complimentary RC Colas and Moon Pies left for you in the room! An adorable, little enclosed “side yard” is perfect for relaxing with your dog (off leash) while they sniff around and do their business. For being located on a busy street intersection downtown, we found our room to be incredibly quiet. Pet guests receive a pre-wrapped, big dog biscuit, and a heart shaped pet tag that says, “The Thunderbird Inn loves me!” We were so impressed! What a sweet gift. There is a nice, well lit parking lot in front of the hotel as well. We felt safe and VERY welcomed. Thank you, Thunderbird Inn!

The hotel was just what we needed. Clean, comfortable, quiet, and our room was on the first floor near the exit. There was also a nice big patch of grass for our dog to go to the bathroom. My only complaint was that many people did not pick up after their dogs, even though bags were provided. That has nothing to do with the hotel though! I would definitely recommend!
