Camden Riverhouse felt like home to both myself and my 10 year old Cavalier. Welcoming staff at check- in. The guests with canines get first floor rooms -- that’s pet and pet owner heaven. Room was comfortable for both of us. Bed, bowl and treats for my pup. Amazingly comfortable bed with quality linens, exceptional shower performance, thick towels, mini frig (without expensive mini-bar treats), coffee maker, microwave and well insulated walls for me. I felt like we were the only guests in the place except for the Riverhouse Happy Hour around the fire pit out back where guests shared travel stories. And the property has a dog walking area outside that is beautifully landscaped. Definitely staying here again and again. Will build the next Maine trip around a stay at the Riverhouse. Almost forgot to mention location, location, location. Walk over a lit footbridge to downtown shops, restaurants and history.

The drive from the Interstate well worth the night’s stay in comfort.
