Retired; 9 lb, 18 month, Yorkipoo

While we did not get the exact same room as last year which we requested, it was just as nice and was actually upgraded to a suite with kitchen. Breakfast was basically the same thing day after day and got boring. There was a small plastic wrapper on the hallway floor outside our room which laid there day after day. I finally picked it up and took it to the front desk with the complaint that it had been laying there three days. The guy there simply threw it in the trash without comment or apology. Other staff were extremely polite and pleasant.

Walked here from the Days Inn as it was rated as dog friendly. Pleasant surprise. Buster was allowed inside as we ordered and we went to sit in the courtyard, enclosed on three sides, at the high top tables and chairs. Very modern atmosphere. Could become a favorite!!

First, our greatest compliments to Megan, our waitress/bartender for her warm hospitality!! Felt right at home while camping a few miles away. Service and food was great and the food was hard to beat. Our 10lb. Yorkipoo, Buster, was welcomed and offered a bowl of water to go along wit the bacon and hotdog my wife shared with him. Luckily, I got to eat my clam strips alone!! Everything delicious!!

Called them as we wanted to know if they had changed their no pet policy and once again allowed them. Nope!! Said “forget you, we and our friends will eat elsewhere”!!

Super impressed!! Ate in the back outdoor bar area which is dog friendly. We went on a Wednesday so was able to take advantage of their $16.50 crab cake sandwich & side special. One of the best I’ve ever eaten and compares to those from Woody’s which are $8 more and lack the side. Will definitely return!!

The hotel is convenient to the PHL airport. The breakfast was superb and the bed was super comfortable. The desk clerk quickly switched our rooms when we discovered the odor of smoke in it upon check-in.

Very pet friendly though your dog had better be comfortable with cats as they are abundant and roam freely. The food is good as are the drinks (hard to beat a Happy Hour screwdriver for $3). The restaurant sits next to a beautiful pool and has a beautiful view of Megan’s Bay in the distance. Staff is extremely friendly.

Great food inside with pet friendly tables and chairs outside. Pleasant staff but be aware can get very busy after 9am so try to get in closer to their 7am opening. Prices are very reasonable.

At 6am we are awakened by 5-10 minutes of racket next door of the ice machine being emptied by the morning breakfast crew getting a supply for the early diners. Complaining to the manager, he replied that there was nothing they could do, that’s the time the workers came on duty. He made no offer to change the room or express regret over the noise.

It may have once been pet friendly but it’s now been sold and is converted to offices.

place has been closed for several years

Great food, service and location! staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Food served promptly and we were checked on often. would highly recommend!! Beautiful ocean view!!

Good food at a great price!! Superb location overlooking the ocean and on the boardwalk. Staff waited on us promptly and were quite friendly to us and the dog. We requested water for the dog and they happily brought him a bowl. Highly recommend.

Excellent location right on the ocean, very attractive decor and great food at a reasonable price! I did take us 20 minutes to be served and only after mentioning to a waiter that we were being neglected as several other tables, arriving after us had already gotten their drinks and/or food. [The waiter] was cordial and made every effort in the slight mistaken order brought to us. We will probably go back as it really was a nice place, had an enjoyable duo playing during our dinner and every other staff member seemed on the ball. With our dog we were seated at an outside table and my wife was bothered by mosquitoes and/or nats. (four of the latter soon found in my orange crush). Sorry but for the waiter and delay in getting served, would have given 5 bones!! BTW, ours was the only dog we saw there at the time and water was not offered to him. No harm.

we finished our Kill Devil Hills vacation by eating here our last night and what a treat!! Located in front of the Ramada, it faces the ocean. the largest dining area is covered with open sides. food was quite good and reasonably priced, staff were friendly and took a special interest in Buster. wish we had tried it earlier and we’d have gone back.

Ate there our first night in Kill Devil Hills. Outside seating where dogs are allowed is limited to three tables. Staff was quite friendly and welcoming to both us and our little pooch, Buster, who was offered a drinking bowl. Food was good and plentiful.

Just ate there and was generally impressed. the food was good, place classy, portions generous. our dog wasn’t offered water (bowls seen nearby) and the water while generally pleasant and attentive never asked us how our meal was. will probably not go back but rather try some of the other dog friendly places recommended. We felt much more welcome at Mama Kwans just up the road the night before. Maybe our waiter was having a bad day or didn’t like our dog but he wasn’t worth giving the restaurant a five star rating.
