Right off highway on our way from Fla to Maine. Good easy spot. Clean no frills for a good price. Not a lot of space for dog to walk but enough.

My husband stays here on route to Maine from FL with our very large Great Dane. Says his fav hotel along the way.

We love new hope and the area and is a great stop off on our way from fla to maine. Clean and spacious rooms and big open green spaces for the dog.

We decided to do a last min trip to bar harbor and checked morning of our departure for any dog friendly hotels in bar harbor. They do hit you w a $75 pet fee! But my rate was only $200 so it was worth it to be ON ocean, heated pools and great on premise restaurant and near downtown. They said dog (we have a great dane) not permitted to be around pool area and grounds, but bartenders told me as long as no one complains, we should be ok. So we walked everywhere with our pup! Hotel a but dated but with these views and rates who cares. They even give you a list of dog friendly shopping and restaurants downtown to check out. We lunched on the water with our dane at stewmans lobster pound and it was perfect! Just exactly what we were looking for.
