Dog Friendly Beaches in Cross River, NY

Playland Beach is a dog-friendly beach located on the grounds of Playland Park Amusement Park in Rye, NY. Dogs are welcome to join their owners on the beach from October 1st until May 4th, before the park is open for the season. There is a limit of 3 dogs for each owner, and dog walking services are prohibited all year round. Make sure you keep Fido on a leash under six feet.

Compo Beach Off-Leash Dog Area welcomes Fido to play along the sandy shoreline from October 1st through March 31st in Westport, CT. The off-leash section is located south of the brick bathhouses and is clearly marked. Please note that the area is not fenced, so pets must be supervised at all times. Dogs are not permitted on the playground, pavilion or beach walkways.

Bayley Beach is a dog-friendly beach located inside Neville Bayley Park in Norwalk, CT. Bayley Beach was once a part of Roton Point Amusement Park, and is now a popular day-use area. Fido is welcome to join you for a stroll along the beach, but please note that dogs are only allowed in the park from November 1 to March 31.
