The island offers a dock, an interpretive kiosk, a restroom and a trail that takes you to the historic cemetery and the ruins of the Faber pencil factory. Please note that dogs are only permitted on this area of the beach from 6am to 10am as well as 4pm to 7pm during standard time or 5pm until 9pm during daylight savings time. Waste disposal points are available at the pet-friendly entrance and owners are reminded to clean up after their pooch when visiting. Dog Beach of Hollywood Head out to the Dog Beach of Hollywood in Florida, where all members of your family, canines included, can enjoy fun at the beach. Daily passes and six-month passes are available from a park ranger during dog beach hours or The Department of Recreation and Cultural Arts, 1405 S. 28th Avenue. The Dog Beach of Hollywood is monitored by a park ranger, however, good dog park etiquette is highly encouraged regardless. Perdido Key River Road Park Perdido Key River Road Park in Pensacola, FL, is a pet-friendly beach. Dogs are free to roam off-leash in the separate, completely enclosed areas for large and small dogs. The beach is narrow but fenced on the sides and has beautiful sand and great swimming opportunities for pups. Keewaydin Island Dog-friendly Keeywadin Island in Naples, FL is a sanctuary for wildlife and recreation. The 8-mile long barrier island is one of southwest Florida’s largest unabridged barrier islands. Dogs are allowed on the beach, but they must be leashed. A boat is needed to access the island and there are no facilities once you arrive.
