Forest Fairies with Corgis and Ponies 'Forest Fairies with Corgis and Ponies' is a pet-friendly Airbnb Experience hosted by Jennifer. If you have a friendly Corgi, and with prior approval of the host, you could bring him along on this experience. Contact host prior to booking with information about your Corgi. You and your pup will join the rest of the Corgis (and possibly ponies) on a hike through BlissWood Forest. Follow the Corgis as they sniff out the pixie dust that will lead to fairy doors. Your host will entertain you with fairy folklore along the way. The experience lasts 1.5 hours and can accommodate up to 10 guests ages 5 and up. Bar Island Trail For 1.5 hours before and after low tide, a gravel bar is exposed connecting the town of Bar Harbor and Bar Island. On the island, the dog-friendly Bar Island Trail gradually ascends through the forest on an old road to various open sections with views of Bar Harbor and Frenchman Bay. Exercise caution and be aware of the tides, as the ocean otherwise covers the bar. If you walk over to the island and lose track of time, it is 9 hours until the bar emerges again.
