Bring Fido for some time in nature at the dog-friendly Wallace State Park in Cameron, MO. This state park is less than an hour outside Kansas City, and is considered an island of serenity. You can fish in the six-acre lake, or hike the four scenic trails within the park. Picnic sites are shaded by trees and scattered throughout the park. Your pup is allowed in the park on a leash, but cannot enter the historic buildings or swim in the lake.
