Dog-friendly Devil's Lake State Park is located in the Baraboo Range in eastern Sauk County, just south of Baraboo, WI. The recreation space welcomes leashed dogs to explore with their owners year-round. During your visit, plan a hike along Devil’s Lake via the West Bluff Trail. One of the most popular hikes in the area, this 4.8-mile loop is a challenging climb up paved and rocked steps, before allowing hikers spectacular lake views from Balanced Rock.

The Aldo Leopold Foundation is a recreational space featuring a visitor center, hiking trails, and a shack in Baraboo, WI. Leashed dogs are welcome to join their owners on pet-friendly hiking trails through the woods and inside the visitors center. Note that dogs are not allowed at the Shack property.
