Delaware State Park is a dog-friendly recreation area in Ohio that offers a diverse outdoor experience with dense woodlands, meadows and a picturesque reservoir. Nature lovers and their pets can explore hiking trails, birdwatch, fish on the lake, have a scenic picnic, play disc golf, and so much more. Just be sure to keep Fido leashed and cleaned up after during your visit.

Inniswood Metro Gardens in Westerville, OH welcomes pets to enjoy a stroll with you on their 0.6-mile Chipmunk Chatter Trail on the exterior of the gardens at this 123-acre nature preserve. Make sure to keep Fido on a leash no longer than six feet while enjoying a walk on the dog-friendly paved trail. Please note that pets aren't permitted outside of the trail and parking lot.

The Genoa Trail is one of 1600 rail-trails supported by Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a nonprofit organization that is working to create a nationwide network of trails from former rail lines and connecting corridors.
