Art for the Paws

Art for the Paws is a community outreach project and fundraiser to help raise awareness for the arts while benefiting Helping Paws Animal Shelter. This fundraising event is two-fold. First, starting in January we are looking for people of all ages and abilities who would like to create some art on our 6” x 6” canvases and donate it for our auction. Canvases are available for a $5 donation and are due back by the end of February. All donated art will be available for sale via an on-line auction through Charity Auctions Today. The auction begins on Friday, March 25 at 9:00am and will continue at the reception on Saturday, April 9 until 9:00pm. Bids start at $25 for each piece of art and bidding can go up by $5 increments. The event concludes with the Art for the Paws reception on Saturday, April 9 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at Mixin Mingle, 124 Cass Street, Woodstock. This event is open to the public with a $5 admission, with light appetizers and beverages being served. We encourage people to come out to view and enjoy the colorful mosaic of unique art created by our community, meet local artists and learn more about Helping Paws.
