Description
Saturday, September 24, stop by the Lewis & Clark State Historic Site in Hartford, Illinois for the third annual Frontier Dog Walk. Event starts at 10 am and ends at 2 pm. Talk with reps from local shelters, learn dog training tips while spending quality time with your 4-legged friend. Walk along the river levee from the Lewis & Clark State Historic Site to the Lewis & Clark Confluence Tower; it's a two mile walk round trip. Admission is free, take home a new fur-ever friend, and donate pet food or supplies to the tower and receive a FREE Tower tour. (All supplies will be donated to attending animal shelters.)
