dog friendly parks of Lima, Ohio

The city of Lima has neighborhood parks where dogs are accepted only when on leashes. The largest park is Faurot Park on Rt. 117 West . It is a lovely rolling hills park where Fido can exercise on a leash.

Allen County, where Lima is situated, has 11 parks as part of the Metro Johnny Appleseed Park System.. A ll require dogs to be on leashes and do not allow dogs to be on the walking trails.

Those on I-75 can exit Route 81 (Ada Road East) to play and exercise at the Metro Beach Park. Camping sites accept dogs on leashes only.
