Dog Friendly Beach - not off leash

I'm looking for beaches I can walk with the dogs, preferably near campgrounds. It does not need to be a dog park or off leash area.
Does anyone know of any?

Del Mar. Ocean Beach. Coronado. Our personal favorite is Coronado. Del Mar is good, too, but we don't go there as much because they are not off leash in the summer. Have never been to Ocean Beach one. Fiesta Island is also really cool place for dogs.
