Private Nature Escape on Beautiful Nantahala Lake
Enjoy our modern chalet and private dock, nestled away on Nantahala Lake and in the Nantahala National Forest!

FEATURES:
Bedroom 1:
This is the primary bedroom with a king-sized bed/Purple mattress located on the top floor. It has a large sliding glass door leading out to the covered balcony with views of the backyard and the lake. It has its own private bathroom with a bathtub/shower and a walk-in closet.
Bedroom 2:
This bedroom is on the opposite side of the top floor. It has a queen-size bed, a corner desk, and a small closet. It shares the common bathroom just outside the bedroom door with a bathtub/shower.
Bedroom 3:
This is the primary bedroom with a king-sized bed/latex mattress located on the lower floor. It has a window looking out to the patio and has views of the backyard and the lake. It has its own private bathroom with a bathtub/shower and a walk-in closet.
Kitchen:
The well-equipped kitchen includes many things, including:
- Stainless-steel appliances
- A full set of dishes (plates, bowls, glasses, utensils, etc.
- Lots of pots, pans, mixing bowls, cooking utensils, measuring cups/spoons, etc.
- Food storage containers
- Kitchen knives
- Cutting board
- Drink blender
- Toaster
- Coffee pot, Keurig coffee maker, espresso pot, French press
- Small crockpot
- Colander
- Hand mixer
- Grill tools
- Coffee, tea, sugar, salt, pepper, olive oil
- Baggies, parchment paper, aluminum foil, etc.
Living Room:
- Roomy sectional next to gas fireplace
Upstairs TV Room:
- Couch and Roku TV with soundbar
- Desk and chair for when you need to do a little work
Dining Room:
- Roomy dining room table for six
Downstairs Entertainment Room:
The oversized room on the lower floor includes:
- RokuTV with sound bar and a Blu-ray player with a small collection of DVDs
- Full-length bar with microwave and toaster oven
- Magnetic dartboard
- Gaming/poker table
- Several seating areas
- A selection of board games, cards, puzzles, etc.
Laundry Room:
- State-of-the-art washer and dryer
- Plenty of eco-friendly detergent and dryer sheets
Outdoor Area:
Our house offers unparalleled access to the lake and forest, which completely surrounds us:
- A large balcony on the upper level with a gas grill, fire table, and outdoor dining table where you can relax and enjoy the view of the forest and lake.
- A large patio on the lower level with a hanging swing and the same view as the balcony above.
- A large deck about halfway down to the lake with benches and a picnic table.
- A hanging swing for two and a wooden chair by the lake for those romantic evenings or star-gazing.
- A private dock (seasonal) where you can swim, fish, or just sit with your feet in the water and enjoy the fresh mountain air. We have a kayak that you can use, and/or you can also bring your boat or rent one from one of the marinas on the lake (rentals are seasonal)!
- Boathouse to store your lake toys when not in use, as well as items that we provide for use during your stay (kayak oars, life vests, etc.)

Our home is in a gated community in a remote area, which is part of what people love about it! We live about 1/4 mile down a well-maintained gravel road.
There is no public transportation, so you will need your vehicle to get around.
There are also lots of fire roads and places to explore if you have an off-road vehicle or ATV.
Communication:
We have high-speed, low-latency satellite internet and whole-home Wi-Fi, which is suitable for work from home, Wifi calling, video conferencing, streaming video, etc.
There is NO cell service in the area. We have cordless phones throughout the house for your use (unlimited long-distance calling included), plus Wi-Fi calling if your cell phone supports it.
Social Media:
We would love for you to join our community! We post local events and share photos from our guests, and even some of our own. We also welcome your reviews, both here and there.
