With over 2,000 square feet of updated living space, Blackbeard’s features a vaulted ceiling, large windows, and three decks. The pet friendly home is beautifully appointed with new floors, modern appliances, and fresh linens, providing a comfortable and welcoming setting for your stay.
Guests can purchase temporary memberships to both the Shoals Club and BHI Club, offering access to golf, dining, and exclusive amenities. The first-floor owner suites are perfect for those seeking easy access, while the large screened-in porch overlooks the golf course. Enjoy ocean views and relax on the top-floor deck, or cruise around the island in the two 4-seat golf carts. With plenty of beach chairs and an outdoor shower, a day at the beach will be a breeze.

POLICIES/RULES
*At "Blackbeard's Return" there is access to Shoals Club or Bald Head Island Club Temporary Memberships. You must join as a temporary member. Temporary membership fees will apply.
*Please keep in mind the BHI CLUB is now capping registration for their guest memberships. If you wish to attend the club during your stay please apply ASAP. Please visit the BHI Club website to see and review their NEW rules and fees. Keep in mind there are new rules regarding what days you can attend the club and what activities guest members can use, please refer to their site or call them for more details. We do not control club rates, rules, or restrictions. No discount or refund will be provided if club membership is restricted or denied. Please check club websites to verify all temporary membership pricing as rates may change.
*You have access to Golf with the membership for an additional fees, please contact BHI Club directly for more detailed information.
*NO SMOKING allowed at this property.
*This is a DOG FRIENDLY HOME: A non-refundable Pet fee of $250 will be added to your rental if you choose to bring your dog. The Pet Fee for two dogs is $350.
*Please make yourself aware of our cancellation policy. Insurance is highly recommended.
*Maximum Occupancy: 10 Occupants - Children must be counted within the maximum occupancy unless they are under the age of two (2) and are sleeping in a crib.
*Tenant Requirements: Tenant stated on the Agreement/Booking must be at least twenty-five (25) years of age, and acknowledge that they will occupy the Property during the entire tenancy.
*Manager and owner of the rental property are not responsible for citations received while staying at the property.
*Be respectful of the house and contents - it is someone's home. Respect the neighbors and neighborhood.
*No events or parties. If determined that a party/event is taking place at property, management has the right to evict tenants and guests with no refund given.
*If determined that a party took place on any of the nights reserved, reservation guest will be charged $500, no exceptions.
*No uninvited guests without permission
***Each reservation includes applicable taxes, a cleaning fee, and a Limited Damage Waiver Fee***
Bald Head Island Activities:
-Rent a bike at Coastal Urge or Riverside Adventure Company.
-Rent a stand up paddle board or kite board from Coastal Urge as well!
-Climb Old Baldy Lighthouse by visiting the Smith Island Museum.
-Go on a historic island tour from the Old Baldy Foundation.
-Take a ghost walk, sail, surf, or kayak with the Sail Shop.
-Take a hike on the M. Kent Mitchell Nature Trail.
-For a guided hike, guided kayak, or guided canoe trip visit the Bald Head Island Conservancy.
-Visit the Island Retreat Spa and Salon for all your relaxation needs.
