Located at the water’s edge directly on the Chincoteague Bay, Off the Record is a Water Lover's delight, and is only 25 short minutes by car or boat to Chincoteague and Assateague Islands, where our wild ponies roam free. Looking for some OC excitement? Ocean City, MD is a short 45 minute drive away. Have the best of everything, right in the heart of the Eastern Shore! What makes this home even more special?! You can bring your family dog to join in on the fun!
This incredible home is a veritable Waterfront Playground - loaded with all the bells and whistles, boredom will be nonexistent! Relax in your Private Waterfront Backyard and watch Herons and Egrets fish for their morning meal - or the kids, for that matter, as you can catch your own fish and crabs right in your bayfront backyard. And, the thoughtful owners have provided 2 Single Kayaks and 1 2-person Kayak for your enjoyment! Between the amenities at the house, and Captain’s Cove crazy-awesome amenities, you have the makings of THE most amazing Vacation ever!
Off the Record sits perched on the Chincoteague Bay, on a very quiet cul-de-sac, and sleeps 6 in comfort and style. Walking through this beautiful home, you’ll feel as if you’re strolling through Coastal Style Magazine! Each room has been thoughtfully re-designed with a casual and chic coastal charm. You will love relaxing in the Waterfront Living Area taking in stunning views, while enjoying Free WiFi and Flat Screen Directv after a fun-filled day at the Beach. Bright Whites and Beachy Blues are so serene and welcoming. Slip out the doors to the Waterfront Deck, and you will know you have arrived! High-end Outdoor Furnishings and touches invite you to ‘sit a spell’, and take in that salty, sweet sea breeze. You can see forever across the Bay to Chincoteague Island, and this Deck promises some incredible Sunrises and Sunsets each precious Vacation Day.
The Chef in your family will adore the Well-Stocked Kitchen with tons of cabinet and countertop space, and everything you need to prepare your meals. Dine in the comfort of Central AC in the huge Dining Area, or kick back on the Deck and dine with a View. Not one to cook on Vacation? We’ve got you covered! Take a short stroll down the road to the Marina Club Restaurant and dine with Water Views.
Just off the Dining Area, you’ll find a Den with Flat Screen TV, a Sleeper Sofa, and even a Workstation for when duty calls and there are emails that just can’t wait.
This gorgeous Home sleeps 6 in 3 well-appointed Bedrooms (Occupancy is strictly enforced). The breathtaking Master Bedroom is super-spacious, to say the least. Sink into the comfy Queen Bed and drift off to the sound of the Bay lapping the bulkhead. There’s a Flat Screen TV for relaxing, and a Workstation offering a quiet place to play catch up. Huge Built-ins frame in this relaxing retreat, which is surrounded by spectacular Bay Views. The Private Master Bath has a Walk-in Shower and lovely Tile Vanity.
Down the Hall, Bedroom 2 has a Queen Bed and more fabulous Bay Views, and right next door, Bedroom 3 has a comfy Twin Bed with Twin Trundle Bed. A 2nd Full Bath with a Tub/Shower Combo is shared.
Captain’s Cove is loaded with amenities - a Golf Course, Indoor Pool, 2 Outdoor Pools - 1 Bayfront with Tiki Bar, Fitness Center, Playground, Restaurant, and Snack Bar. Guests may purchase Amenity Passes for the pools by the day or the week at a minimal fee ($15/pp per day or $75/pp per week). More of a beach person? One of the most gorgeous, cleanest beaches in America, Assateague Island National Park, is only 20 minutes down the street, or take your boat to one of our awesome sand bars for your own private slice of Paradise. The beauty to discover here on the Eastern Shore of Virginia is truly awe-inspiring.
Occupancy Strictly enforced - no more than 6. No party groups - Families only! Captain's Cove does not allow arrivals or departures on Sundays. Pool/Amenity closures possible due to covid and Amenities cannot be guaranteed. Please check with our office for current status.
Seaside Vacations does not allow group rentals to guests under age 25. Therefore, online bookings for group rentals will not be honored. Friendly dogs welcome with $100 Pet Fee per Dog. Dogs MUST be current on Flea/Tick Preventative & Immunizations. No Cats.
