Description
Columbus Belmont State Park Campground is a 156-acre site that played a major role in the Civil War, and is among six Kentucky sites recognized on the Trail of Tears National Historic Trail. The campground is situated on a river cliff, and has 38 sites with utility hookups and grills. Restrooms, showers, and laundry facilities are also available, and pets are allowed if restrained. Campground open year round, but water is not available at each site in winter. There is a 2.5-mile self-guided hiking trail in the Park as well.
