Description
Cookson Lake Dispersed Campsite is a 35 acre lake with two small islands. There are five primitive campsites located in a large open field on the south shore of the lake. Each campsite has a fire pit. Campsite #2 is located closest to the lake, but it's also close to a public boat ramp. A pit toilet is located near site #1, but you need to bring your own toilet paper. No drinking water or garbage service is available. Camping at Council Lake is by reservation only.
