Little Shaheen Cabin

This one-room cabin is located on Admiralty Island in Hasselborg Lake, in the middle of one of Alaska's most beautiful designated wildnerness areas. Those wishing to camp with need to either arrive by float plane or portage canoe, and should bring sleeping bags, pads, cook stoves, cooking gear, toilet paper and food. The cabin includes wooden bunks, table, benches, an outside toilet, and oil heating stove. There is a skiff with oars on site for the use of campers, who may choose to bring a motor of up to 10 horsepower. It's a perfect base for exploring the trails. Campers should prepare for the possibility of extended stays due to weather.
