Description
You just might catch a glimpse of a Bald Eagle while camping at Longshoal Campground. The campground is located on Longshoal Park on Harry S. Truman lake, a forested area with rocky hills and rock bluffs which extend out into the water. Enjoy excellent fishing, swimming, hunting, and boating, or watch for the local wildlife, which in addition to eagles includes whitetail deer, turkeys, hummingbirds and ospreys. The campground includes 123 sites with shower facilities, laundry, children's playground, and a swimming beach.
