Description
Truly remote and beautiful, Lightning Point Group Campground offers a real wilderness experience for those looking to explore the beauty of the Angeles National Forest. Set at an elevation of 6,100 feet and nestled amongst Scrub Oaks, Jeffery Pines and Manzanita, the campground includes several sites with group-sized barbecues and tables. There are also over two dozen single horse corrals for those looking to explore the park on horseback. No water on-site, and no restroom facilities - visitors must bring portable toilets and remove all components when they leave. Open summer only, from April 1 to November 15.
