Macomb Reservation

You and your pet will get a taste of the wilderness at Macomb Reservation State Park. Non-motorized boats are welcome to explore man-made Davis Pond, which is also a great fishing spot, as is the nearby Salmon River. The campground features picnic areas, showers, boat rentals, children's playground, playing fields, nature and hiking trails, and offers both electric and non-electric, wooded campsites. There are loads of activities for every time of year, from cross-country skiing and snow-shoeing in the winter to swimming, fishing, and hiking in the summer. This beautiful piece of the Lake Champlain area sits just outside the Adirondack Park, 160 miles east of the Thousand Islands area.
