Dogs are allowed at Sands of Time Campground, but they must be kept on a leash at all times. Do not tie your pet out and leave unattended. Please clean up after your pets. Pest are not allowed in the bathhouse.. There is a 2 dog limit per site and a $1 pet fee. Guard-type dogs are not permitted. Excessive barking (indoors or outdoors) is not allowed. Description
When you stay at Sands of Time Campground, located in the quaint fishing village Avon better know as Kinnakeet by the locals, you will enjoy the serenity of Hatteras Island as in days gone by with the modern convenience of today. They are within walking distance of restaurants, shopping, Avon fishing pier, entertainment and pristine beaches. Just two and a half miles down the road is Canadian Hole, famous nationwide among wind surfers and kite surfers. The campground offer large sites, full hookups, clean, hot showers, laundry facilities, a fish cleaning station and shady tent sites. They also offer a darling two bedroom/one bath cottage rental, set off amid beautiful trees.
