Schoolhouse Canyon Campground
Dogs are allowed at Schoolhouse Canyon Campground, but they must be kept on a leash at all times. Pets must not be left unattended. Please keep your pets on a leash at all times and contained in your camper, tent or trailer at night. You must clean up each and every time after your pet. In consideration of all campers, dogs that are unable to remain quite will not be allowed to stay a second night. There is a $5 pet fee. Aggressive dogs and Pit Bulls are not permitted. Description
The campsites at Schoolhouse Canyon Campground are like no other on the Russian River. The lower sites are tucked into a Redwood grove while the canopy of the upper sites is a mixture of Bay, Oak and Madrone. There is shade cover and protection from the sun throughout the canyon. Each site has a campfire pit and picnic table which were hand made by the founder, John Fuller.
