Description
Lakeport RV Resort is the perfect getaway. Get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life in their quiet corner of Florida. They are an 87 space RV park with friendly staff and campers. Whether you want to get away for a weekend, a month or the season they are the place to go. They are located on the Lake Okeechobee rim canal and near the Florida Birding trail. If you love nature you will love the wildlife. Sandhill cranes and other birds abound. You may even get a glimpse of a playful otter. Alligators are in the canal and if you keep a respectful distance you can enjoy watching them swim. If you enjoy fishing there are bass, crappie and catfish in the lake waters. They are a 55+ park for long term stays but do welcome familes for short term.
