The Hotel Camino Real is a landmark hotel overlooking Lake Peten Itza and located halfway in between the Mayan Ruins of Tikal and the city of Flores. It is situated within the Cerro Cahui Nature Reserve and consists of 72 spacious rooms.In the lush Peten jungle the Hotel Camino Real Tikal provides travelers a unique opportunity to explore one of the world's most spectacular archaeological sites and relax in an unspoiled natural paradise. Guests of the hotel can use bicycles and kayaks free of charge. The two restaurants specialize in delicious Guatemala specialties and International cuisine.The hotel features 18 thatched-roof bungalows that each hosts four rooms for a total of 72 rooms and suites. All of the rooms offer modern comforts and include either a balcony or a terrace.
