Private and serene, with twelve guestrooms only- the lodge is the perfect base for a fiordland experience. The open architecture of the lodge reflects the vastness of the Fiordland National Park. High ceilings- full trunk pillars and massive riverstone fireplaces provide a warm and spacious environment with a sense of solidity and style. Situated on a rural property- just north of Te Anau- Fiordland Lodge is the perfect base from where to discover the magic of the Fiordland National Park- including milford sound- doubtful sound- the milford- hollyford and kepler tracks and the grand traverse. It is possible also to take scenic flights over this extensive wilderness. Hosts Ron and Robynne Peacock have a long association with the Fiordland area- and enjoy sharing their knowledge with their guests. Ron works as a fishing guide by day- driving or flying to the various rivers and streams within easy access from the lodge. .
