Welcome Heaven's Gate - a spacious mountain getaway designed with families and friends in mind. The open floor plan and majestic stone fireplace create the perfect setting for cozy conversations, while a wall of windows frames stunning long-range mountain views that everyone will remember. Whether you're hosting a family tournament of pool, foosball, or air hockey, or diving into a board game or classic arcade challenge, there's something here for every generation. The media center is a dream come true for movie nights and gaming marathons, featuring a 50" HDTV with surround sound, PlayStation and Xbox consoles, and a library of over 50 movies and games. There are seven HDTVs and unlimited high-speed WiFi. Smart TVs and game consoles have Netflix/HULU streaming services.
Venture out onto the terrace patio and soak in the spacious hot tub or cozy up to the fire pit and enjoy s’mores and telling stories as the sun sets over the mountains. The wrap around deck featuring comfortable seating around a granite fire table is a great conversation place. An outdoor playground with climbing wall, swings, and pirate fort is also available for the little ones to enjoy nature’s beauty. The site is a certified wildlife habitat with the National Wildlife Federation for the naturalist at heart.
The cabin is family friendly and pet friendly. Please ask about the amenities for young children including a high chair, packn'play, bed guards, and baby gates. For your furry family member, we provide a metal dog crate, bed, food bowls, and fully fenced back yard. The pet fee includes one pet. An additional dog may be approved on a case by case basis.
Perfectly situated between Blue Ridge and Ellijay, you are minutes from tubing or trout fishing on the river, kayaking, world-renowned hiking trails, or boating on Lake Blue Ridge to the north and Carter's Lake to the south. Located nearby are spirited mountain bike trails, Bear Creek, Appalachian and Benton MacKaye trails, Fort Mountain, Amicalola Falls, zip lining, horseback riding, golf, apple orchards, and local wineries. This stunning lodge provides accommodations for everyone with five king/queen bedrooms. No detail has been spared with designer bathrooms outfitted with granite counter tops and hand-formed copper sinks. Each floor has its own climate controls and a high efficiency washer and dryer are provided for guest convenience.
Each of the bedrooms, great room, loft, dining room, balcony, terrace, and the games room all have amazing views of the long range mountains.
When you are ready for a meal, the gourmet kitchen with custom cabinets, granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances is fully stocked with all the conveniences and cooking tools the chef needs. There is a Keurig Coffee machine, drip coffee, waffle maker, slow cooker, griddle, toaster, and kettle to name a few. Just bring the provisions and let your culinary creativity flow. The dining area has table seating for eight with additional seating at the kitchen island. There is a stainless steel propane gas grill and charcoal smoker for the grilling enthusiast. If the chef needs a break, fine dining in Ellijay or Blue Ridge is only minutes away.

Heaven's Gate is located in a quiet neighborhood with all paved roads leading right up to the front door. Gated access provides additional privacy to this oasis in the mountains. If you are ready to relax, reconnect and create lasting memories, you have found your place. The neighborhood is very safe, but for added piece of mind, we have a security camera for the parking area.

We had the pleasure of spending the MLK weekend with family and friends at this lovely cabin. It was close to everything but yet it was set apart, so you got the feel of being in a secluded cabin. The beds were comfortable, and the views were absolutely breathtaking. There is a huge square table that seats 8, it was good for eating, playing board games, and talking. The living area has a fireplace that kept the house nice and cozy. The kitchen was well stocked with everything imaginable including extra pots and pans, plenty of silverware, waffle maker, mixer and electric skillet ... everything! This cabin should be called Fun Times because there are games galore. There was a pool table, air hockey, foosball and even books, videos and board games. Outside there is a little fort area with a swing and rock wall for the kids. The fire pit was awesome. Simply put, this cabin has something for everyone. The owners are kind and accommodating. They want you to really enjoy your stay. They provided us with things to do in the area. They really took care of us. I would recommend this cabin to anyone who wants to have a carefree good time!
