Overlooking the Marina
It would be difficult to imagine a better location: with glorious sea-view and overlooking the marina and cruise port of Funchal, the pedestrianized area with its outdoor cafés, the Municipal Gardens, the La Vie shopping centre and the many restaurants and shops of Funchal are all on your doorstep.
This sixth floor apartment benefits from a southern exposure and amazing views from the living area and bedrooms. Recently fully refurbished to a high standard, the lovely airy open-space lounge, dining and kitchen opens to the sea-facing balcony, where you can relax in the evenings, check out which cruise ships are in that day and see the world go by on the sea promenade below (specially beguiling in the evening sun).
Both bedrooms are spacious and have air conditioning/heating and share the modern shower-room. The larger has king-size bed, the second bedroom two single beds.

Madeira

Cleaning
The property is prepared for your arrival. For stays of longer than 7 nights, a change of linen and towels, and light mid-stay cleaning of bathrooms is provided on a day and time to be advised at check-in.
All linen and towels are provided.
For health reasons, linen for a baby cot is not provided and you should bring your own.
Guests need to vacate the villa during a mid-stay clean and change of linen.
Booking notes
The rental value varies with the number of people occupying the property, so please ensure you enter the correct dates, number of adults, children and infants. Please note that supplements apply should additional people join you for any length of time.
To secure your reservation we require a 30% deposit, or the full amount if you are arriving within 8 weeks. The balance is due 8 weeks prior to arrival.
Final details for check-in and driving instructions to the property will be sent 7 days prior to arrival. A contact number will be provided, and to be able to access the property, you need to phone this number as you are leaving the airport. It is your responsibility to contact and advise the number provided on the check-in details to advise any delays to the expected check-in time.
Check-in times - at the property - are between 16H00 and 19H00. For Sunday arrivals and out of hours check-in, alternative arrangements will be made and an additional cost will apply.
Check-in and check-out flexibility will be applied where possible, but this will depend on housekeeping schedules and the departure and arrival days of other reservations either side of your stay; a definitive answer can only be provided within 24 hours of your arrival for check-in and your departure for check-out.

The payment of a Tourist Tax has been implemented for all arriving visitors on or after 01 October 2024 across all of Madeira and Porto Santo by the local Municipalities.
This applies to all visitors to Madeira aged 13 or over, and costs 2€ per person per day up to a maximum of 14€ per person.
Your accommodation is responsible for collecting these amounts and paying them on your behalf to the applicable municipality.

Check-in time is normally from 16:00, but you are most welcome to come straight from the airport. Should Clients be departing the apartment on the same day, it might still be being cleaned, but you may wish to leave your luggage before returning at a later time. if for some reason that is not possible you will be told otherwise in advance.
We can also give you guidance on what to do and where to eat while you are here – don ́t hesitate to ask!
