Stepping inside, you'll be greeted by the timeless beauty of Craftsman architecture, with delightful touches from the 1930s and 1940s, and adorned with tasteful Pine Craft furniture, creating an atmosphere that seamlessly blends nostalgia with modern comfort. With just a short 5 min walk you can hear the soothing waters of Strawberry Creek, take a stroll to the town's amenities, or take a short 5-minute drive to the picturesque hiking trails of Humber Park, "Fern Valley Cottage" offers the perfect balance of seclusion and accessibility. Outside, the property boasts a meticulously manicured yard, offering remarkable views of the surrounding landscape, and providing an ideal setting for relaxation and rejuvenation. This vacation rental is not equipped with air-conditioning.
-Cancellations: Bookings canceled at least 60 days before the start of the stay will receive a full refund, with a $150.00 cancellation charge. Bookings canceled at least 30 days before the start of the stay will receive a 50% refund, plus a $150.00 cancellation charge.
No Cancellations are Allowed for November, December, and January.
- Pets: We do allow dogs, however, please note that there is a fee of $35 per dog per night. If you plan to bring more than one dog, you must obtain prior approval and additional fees may apply. When booking through selected third-party sites such as Airbnb, once your booking is confirmed, you will receive a payment request for the dog fee, which should be paid separately.
Check-in instructions: On your arrival day, the reserving guest will receive a text with check-in instructions between 3:30 and 4:00 PM. Please stop by our office to retrieve your key from the lockbox.
- Parking: Free parking is available for 2 vehicles.
- County permit number: 001754
- Rental agreement: Please review our rental agreement for our house rules. You will receive an emailed version to sign, but if you prefer other options, please inquire.
Age restrictions: Due to the new County of Ordinance 927.2, we no longer accept reservations for anyone under 21. Those under 25 will provide an additional insurance for $70.00 non-refundable on the day of arrival.
- Seasonal wood delivery: There is a $25 fee per bundle (approximately 20 pieces) if available. Please provide at least 5 days' notice for a Friday arrival date or at least 3 days' notice for any other day of the week. Please note that there are no refunds for this service.
- Confirmation: Upon booking this property through Airbnb, New Spirit Vacation Homes will send you a direct email confirming your reservation. Attached to this confirmation will be a contract you need to review, sign, and send back within 24 hours.
- Incidentals: We reserve the right to request payment for any incidentals. This includes but is not limited to firewood, pet fees, special occasion requests, personal grocery drop-offs, pay-per-view movies or sporting events, and damaged property.
