The staff at Hotel Monteleone was superb! Beautiful French luxury in the Heart of the French District. It doesn’t get better than this! Our Golden, Macie was treated like a rock star! This is the only hotel that we will stay in New Orleans! The best service I have ever had at a luxury hotel.

The staff, amenities for dogs & owners, rooms and location are impeccable. Our dog was a welcomed guest and we behaved accordingly! For us humans, it was effortless elegance. For our dog, she was pleased to be with us and loved the room service. It's a luxury hotel and priced accordingly. We won't stay elsewhere in Nola.

We visit the French Quarter often and we only stay at the Hotel Monteleone. The service is excellent! I was very excited when I saw they allowed dogs, so Blue came along! He was welcomed, there wasn’t a single person acting like he wasn’t a guest there. They even had a room service menu for dogs!!! Would happily bring him again! Blue takes awhile to warm up to new places, but he stretched out on the big bed right away and settled right in! When he approves, it’s a win!

Drinks and breakfast outstanding! Room was great for the dog, however they did not have all the amenities for the dog. They did take off the $100 fee when I showed them what it said on this site. They did they give me the bowls. However, check your bill at checkout cause they tried to charge the $100 saying misunderstanding about which fee was going to be removed. In the end they did remove the fees. So I was very happy from that standpoint. Rooms need to be updated yet should keep the historical feel. So that the heart of New Orleans can live on.

Stayed here for one night while traveling across the country. What a mistake! We made a reservation after checking their website and seeing pets were allowed. There was no pet fee listed. When we got there we found out that they had added a ridiculously high pet fee to our reservation, but wouldn’t let us cancel without paying cancellation fees. Save your money and stay elsewhere!
