Soundside Getaway With Water Views
Plan your next getaway to Spindrift! This 3-bed 2-bath cottage sits right on the 13th hole of the Nags Head Golf Links golf course and offers awesome lake and sound views! Explore convenient walking paths behind the house or take a stroll with your four-legged pal through the quiet Village of Nags Head neighborhood. Head over to one of two private sound accesses if you enjoy kayaking or fishing. When you're ready to hit the beach, a private oceanfront access for the community is located about 0.8-miles away, or you can check out one of the other public accesses in Nags Head—there are plenty to choose from!
There is plenty of parking space in the roomy driveway with carport. Inside, a huge Master Bedroom with a fresh coat of paint and high ceilings features a ceiling fan for comfort, a cozy Queen Bed, balcony access, a TV for catching up on your favorite show before you go to sleep, and an attached full bath with a tub/shower combo. If you want to soak in the coastal air but still stay in the shade, the covered balcony overlooks the golf course and is a great place to enjoy your favorite book.
Rest easy in one of two spacious bedrooms on the middle level, each with vaulted ceilings and a ceiling fan. The first room features a comfortable Queen Bed and shares access to a full hall bathroom with tub/shower combo. The second bedroom is ideal for any kids in your group and features a Pyramid Bunk Bed. A laundry closet is conveniently located by the staircase to make washing clothes a breeze.

The adjoining dining area includes a table with seating for 6 and doubles as the perfect surface for pulling out a board game or deck of cards for family game night. From the top deck, gaze out over the nearby lake and golf course. Plus, every evening, you'll experience a picturesque sunset over the sound that will fill the sky with gorgeous colors—what could be more relaxing?

Just imagine playing 18-holes on a warm summer day with the beautiful sound serving as the backdrop for your game. Of course, with such a convenient location near great restaurants, local shops, and neat attractions, there is plenty to do even if you're not an avid golfer! Easily walk (or drive) to nearby grocery stores to stock up on the supplies you need to cook at home or meander around the Outer Banks Mall for a day of shopping in department stores like Home Goods and Tuesday Morning or local boutiques like The Cottage Shop! Be sure to make a pit stop to try a famous Duck Donuts custom flavored donut—you won't be disappointed! You're also minutes away from some of the best restaurants in town including La Fogata, Village Pizza, Grits Grill, and the Island Snowball Company. Climb to the top of The Bodie Island Lighthouse for an incredible view of the surrounding island. Because you're on the southern end of town, Spindrift is convenient to great day-trip areas like Pea Island and the Cape Hatteras National Seashore where you'll enjoy bird watching, beachcombing, watersports, and more. This home is less than a 6-minute walk from both the beach and bay, a 1-minute walk to restaurants, food services, and shopping, and only 8 miles to the Bodie Island Lighthouse - so bring your bikes!
