Bungalow Blue is a charming 3 bed, 2 ½ bath home located on Bend’s popular West Side right in the heart of it all! You'll love this quintessential craftsman westside home. Just half a block off of Newport Avenue, Bungalow Blue is tucked into a quiet neighborhood. Welcome to your home just a few steps away from some of Bend’s most popular restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries, grocery, boutiques and more! Hop on one of the 4 provided cruiser bikes to “live like a local” and cruise to Drake Park, Downtown Bend, and the Old Mill… an easy meander away!
Bungalow Blue is a fully restored classic Bend cottage originally built in the 1920’s during Bend’s mill-town heyday. Featuring plenty of natural light, two fireplaces, and an antique claw foot tub in the master bedroom, this place is a charmer with modern amenities and prime westside Bend location! Bungalow Blue offers 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths!
DOWNTOWN LOCATION
Only steps away from many local favorite spots on Newport Ave. Grab some yummy pastries at Nancy P's Baking and a cup of fresh coffee at Backporch Roasters, just around the block! The local gourmet grocer Newport Market, and great eats like Chow, Spork and Kebaba are just one block away! Mirror Pond and Downtown Bend are only 1-5 blocks away... and of course Mt Bachelor is just 20 minutes up the road. Come stay in Bend and live like a local!
HEATING & COOLING
This spacious home has several types of heating and cooling. In the living room you'll find a mini split for heating and cooling as well as a gas fireplace. There is another mini split uint in the dining room and this cools the dining room and middle queen bedroom when the bedroom doors are left open. The king bedroom has a gas fireplace for heat and whisper quiet Midea window A/C. The front queen bedroom has cadet heating and a portable A/C for summer cooling. There are several other cadet heaters throughout the home to keep you the right temperature.
SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS
Bungalow Blue sleeps 6 guests. Sleep arrangements include 3 bedrooms. There is 1 king bedroom, and 2 queen bedrooms. The king bedroom and the front queen bedroom can both be closed off with a pocket door to include its own ensuite bathroom for a private sleeping suite. The middle queen bedroom has curtained French doors off the dining room. A Pack & Play Crib and high chair is also provided for your little one if needed (bring your own baby sheets).
KITCHEN AND DINING
Enjoy a light filled, fully equipped kitchen with stainless appliances. This classic eat-in kitchen has a sweet mid century touch, PLUS a formal dining table for the perfect gathering space.
350+ MBPS INTERNET & SMART ROKU TV
Enjoy 350+ MBPS internet and free wifi in this home. Speed text on a mobile phone is 358 Mbps /11.6 Mbps. Both TVs feature ROKU TV and come with 350+ free channels. Bring your subscriptions to stream your favorite streaming services.
OUTDOOR SPACES
Outside you'll find a private backyard equipped with a BBQ and supplied propane. Patio table to enjoy your summer meals, and a large locked garage to store your gear year-round!
PARKING
You will have your own private car port space with room with two vehicles, one in front of the other. There is also plenty of on-street parking in front of the home.
PET-FRIENDLY
Bungalow Blue is a pet-friendly home with an enclosed yard. Pet sheets are provided for furniture. If you plan to bring your sweet pup(s), kindly let us know prior and remember to pick up your piles! A pet fee applies to each reservation.
