Summary:
This is our most typical and rural home. A cozy and comfortable version of the house of our ancestors.
In the bathroom, you can choose to take a shower with a tile showerhead.
The courtyard of the house invites you to take breakfast with mountain views and listening to the silence characteristic of the field at dawn.

Guest Access:
Our guests have full access to the gardens of Quinta do Rapozinho, children's playground, shared swimming pool and reception. They can enjoy and use all these spaces, as well as all the elements contained therein.
The Neighborhood:
Casa da Fecha is nestled in the charming rural neighborhood of Cabeceiras de Basto, Portugal, offering a true escape to nature. The area is perfect for families who love outdoor adventures, with numerous hiking and biking trails right on your doorstep. For those seeking a taste of local life, you'll find small, traditional shops within a short drive, where you can discover regional products and souvenirs. While the immediate surroundings offer tranquility, a drive will take you to local restaurants serving delicious Portuguese cuisine, perfect for family meals. Embrace the peaceful atmosphere and explore the beauty of the countryside. For those who wish to have a closer look at the portuguese culture, visit the museums that are in the area.
Getting Around:
For all our customers who like to take great nature walks, trail or mountain biking, we have created special and specific routes for all occasions, modes, and distances. We also have some special extras like transportation to departure points, picnics, etc., to make all stays special.
For the remaining clients, we suggest several points of interest, all of them in the region, but that require the use of own transport.
Other Things to Note:
Welcome to Casa da Fecha! Check-in is at 4:00 PM, and check-out is by 12:00 PM. We offer free parking on the premises. Please note that pets are allowed, and charges may apply, so kindly inquire in advance. Smoking is not permitted inside the house. For families, we have a children's playground, children’s books and toys, and children’s dinnerware available. Enjoy our shared swimming pool and gardens. We also provide recommendations for babysitters. If you have any questions or need assistance during your stay, please reach out to us through the platform messaging system or at the reception. We are here to ensure your stay is memorable and relaxing!
