Pet Friendly Campgrounds in Linville, NC

Dark Ridge HideOut is pet friendly! Dogs of any size are allowed for no additional fee. Cats may also be allowed by request.

Dogs are allowed at Linville Falls Blue Ridge Pkwy Campground, but they must be kept on a leash no longer than 6 feet when outside your vehicle. Dogs are also allowed at the tent sites and inside the cabins ($10 fee), but should not be left unattended at the campsites. For more information on pet restrictions, please call (828) 765-7818.

Blue Bear Mountain Camp allows pets of any size for no additional fee. Pets are not allowed inside the bath house or on the furniture in the Cabin and Tepees. Pets cannot be left unattended and must be leashed at all times. Please clean up after your pet and prevent them from digging on the property.

Dogs are allowed at Down By the River Campground, but aggressive pets are not allowed. Pets must have required vaccinations. There is a pet park on the campgrounds. Pets must be on a leash when outside your camper/tent. When walking your pet within the campground, use a short 6' or less leash. Please do not walk your pet along the river. When pets need to go to the bathroom, please use the field East of the recreation center. Clean up after your pet and place waste in a garbage bag. Take necessary measures when leaving your pets in the camper to prevent them from disturbing others. Other restrictions may apply. Please see website for more details.
