Local Roots is rated 3.0 bones out of 5 by 2 canine critics on BringFido, and 5.0 stars out of 5 by 2 guests on TripAdvisor.

Customers praise Local Roots for its excellent downtown location, quality food, and spacious outdoor patio with shade for pets, though the restaurant does not provide water bowls or special pet amenities. Some visitors noted that while the service and overall value are strong, bringing your own water bowl is necessary to keep your pet comfortable during your visit.
