The truck takes the classic churro and puts a twist on it, with dishes like Campfire, topped with graham crackers and toasted marshmallows, and the Hippie Hallow, with peach & blackberry compote. If you want something a little different, they have ice cream floats too. Open Tuesday through Friday 12pm to 9pm, Saturday 2pm to 9pm, and Sunday 2pm to 6pm.

Started in 1954, Maudie's shifted from comfort foods to Tex-Mex twenty five years ago and now has eight locations in the Austin area. If you have a big appetite, you can go for one of the Plates, which feature combinations of some of Maudie's most popular dishes. MOD Pizza on S Capital of Texas Highway provides nine pet-friendly tables outside. This pizzeria serves up individual artisan-style pizzas designed by you, the customer, or the chef's selection. After a choice is made, the handcrafted pizzas are fired in their eight-hundred-degree display oven. The popular pizzas that are available include the Lucy Sunshine, mozzarella, parmesan, artichokes, garlic, and dollops of red sauce.
