Bring your dog to sit on the large outdoor patio at pet-friendly Simon's Coffee House in Sarasota, FL. The name is misleading, this restaurant serves much more than coffee. Breakfast and lunch are served using fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. For breakfast choose from omelets, breakfast skillets, crepes, porridge, and egg wraps and sandwiches. At lunchtime, Simon's always has at least six different soups on offer. The restaurant also serves vegetarian dishes, panini sandwiches, made-to-order salads, fruit smoothies, and beer and wine. Of course, coffee drinks made with locally-roasted beans are available, too.

First Watch, located in Bradenton, is a casual cafe-style eatery that serves up a variety of delicious dishes. Fido is welcome to join you at one of their four pet-friendly outdoor tables while you enjoy your meal. Try the Chile Chorizo Omelette filled with chorizo, avocado, green chilies, roasted onions, cheddar, Monterey jack, sour cream, and house-made pico de gallo. Or go for the Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict - two poached eggs atop toasted ciabatta, topped with wild Alaskan smoked Sockeye salmon, red onion, tomato, and hollandaise, served with lightly dressed organic mixed greens. If you're stopping by for lunch, chow down on the Roast Beef and Havarti Sandwich with roast beef, horseradish Havarti, house-roasted onions, tomato, and lemon-dressed arugula on grilled parmesan-crusted sourdough, served with a side of horseradish sauce.

New Pass Grill

New Pass Grill offers tasty burgers, sandwiches, and fried fish and shrimp right on the water, with a walk-up window so you can bring your dog when you order. Right beside a bait and tackle shop.

First Watch

First Watch has been serving up delicious breakfast and lunches somewhere in the country since 1983. Egg sandwiches, omelettes, French toast, power bowls, salads, turkey burgers, and chicken salad melts are just some of the popular dishes available daily. Outside seating area welcomes dogs.

Village Cafe

Fantastic Breakfast - try the breakfast burrito. Their salsa is amazing. They were extremely friendly toward dog people. You sit at the sidewalk tables, and they even bring you hand sanitizer and a bowl of water for the pooch. They do require that the dog not be tall enough that his head is above table level when standing on all fours, so I guess it wouldn't work out for very large dogs, but for our mid-size it was great. We ate breakfast there everyday while we were at Siesta Key. Highly recommended!

At lunchtime, KaCey's Seafood & More serves blackened mahi salad, lobster bisque, fish tacos, chili dogs, cod fish sandwich, and cheeseburger with fries. At dinner, choose from a coconut shrimp basket, crab cake platter, shrimp and grits, lobster and shrimp carbonara pasta, and BBQ baby back ribs. Beer, wine, and a children's menu is available, too. KaCey's Seafood & More is open daily for lunch and dinner from 11am until 9pm. No reservations are accepted, but KaCey's does offer priority call-ahead seating.
