We visited on 17 July and ended up spending much more time at Dromhus than we had planned. The staff and the other patrons were very accommodating of our doggos and all of the foods were AWESOME! Deer County itself clams to be very dog friendly, but I would call it more dog tolerant with just a few outside areas at restaurants, breweries, etc. Dromhaus was at the top of our experience with our two small pups this vacay.

The hotel is a Super 8, so expectations weren't high... it is what it is. We called to ensure they were dog friendly (they are, but) the front desk lady wanted $290 for a room with an additional $15 per dog (we have two little ones). My wife was on another site while I was talking to the front desk and found the same room listed at $150 less. I promptly hung up and booked online. We get to the hotel that had just informed me they were dog friendly and attempted to book the King bed room with me and the male front desk told us only the double beds are dog friendly and we couldn't have the king bed. All in all we stayed (it was late) and the dogs were fine, but it was a clusterfudge!

The "outside" picnic tables are where the dogs are allowed. "Outside" is in the parking lot 20' from a loud main road. No shade is available so don't take your doggos on a hot day! Other than just being able to sit in the parking lot with us, it wasn't very accommodating.

Visited during a massive rainstorm, very welcoming inside for our two doggos. Beers & food truck were delivered right to our table & staff and visitors gave our pups tons of love! The Beer Garden looked awesome, but we didn't get to sit out back because of the sideways rain!

We brought our frenchie & boston fur babies in for lunch. Everyone was excited to see them, including the iguanas....bring your own water bowl.

We visited FKB during a torrential rain storm with our two doggos...they were very welcoming both inside & out...during rainstorms inside seating is very limited. Beer was great...made tons of new friends...there were three other frenchie parents there! would go back with our pups in a second.

Our two dogs were treated like rock stars by both the staff and guests as we walked the awesome trails at Rock City. The shaded "cave" areas brought a lot of cool air for our doggos & they loved being with Mom & Dad on this adventure....highly recommended dog family must see attraction!
