Not much at Dew Drop
The Dew Drop Inn MotelNothing fancy for sure here! Very elaborate legal form for pets at check-in. Horses next door were cool during our pup’s walk - which was cool. Not cool however, was due to booking thru third party we were not able to obtain any refund when we had to check out a day early due to family emergency. My advice, plan early to get an accommodation elsewhere in the park.
Fancy digs for our dog
WoodlarkThe Woodlark is very much akin to a NYC hotel - beautifully appointed but a tad small. If your dog is on the larger side, definitely a drawback. Our pup is small, and sleeps on the bed with us. That entailed frequent paw-washing as the streets are pretty dirty. The staff was very nice, though nothing really special towards our dog. No pet fee, but the $58 resort fee was a substitute - not really sure what is resort-like…the food was average and coffee was not gratis, and ice had to be delivered. Parking is $50 a day, but they delivered the car via valet quickly. Absolutely beautiful room, great bed and pillows. overall, nice stay.
Great stay!
Majestic Inn & SpaWe stayed one night on Memorial Day weekend. Upon check in a nice packet of dog treats and a roll of poop bags, as well as a choice of toy from their collection! We stayed in the historic part of the Inn. Top floor (elevator stops at 4th). Gorgeous room with outside balcony safe for dogs with nice view of town and water. We were disappointed that our girl Emme was not allowed on the outside rooftop (new building) restaurant where we planned on watching the sunset. Friendly staff suggested the cupola just upstairs from our room. We had dessert and beauty at our disposal, sharing with another couple, sans canine. The Inn is very pricey. Our only suggestion besides allowing pets outdoors on the rooftop would be to include breakfast!
Uneven visit
La Conner Brewing CoA big crowded on the covered pet patio. no (clean) water or treats provided. Only 2 sandwiches on entire menu. I opted for a spinach salad with local king salmon. All ingredients that create taste were absent, even blackening on the salmon was deficient. A couple of small pieces of apple, little to no feta, and the apple vinaigrette dressing was blah. Oh, and we waited 45 minutes to get a salad. Granted busy Sunday over Memorial Day…but still a wasted 75 minutes we could have been exploring the charming town.
Good choice
Best Western Northwest LodgeGood location just off the interstate, first Boise exit coming from the east. Great Western decor, decent breakfast, noisy AC, lots of dogs everywhere. Not overly welcoming to pets, but a good choice.
Gorgeous!
Whispering Creek Bed & BreakfastJust up from the main drag, great room and bath. We stayed just off the dining room and our girl Emme was allowed to dine with us in the morning inside! Great innkeeper who just loved our dog. A little pricey, but worth every penny!
Great location
Best Western Plus Rio Grande InnThese people love dogs! Dog bed in room, treat at check-in. Hallway smoky, even in non smoking room area. No breakfast included and room adequate. Great restaurants nearby, and OldTown down the street. Tourist center had treats and attention for our pup, ABQ is very dog friendly. Though dog parks are very dirty and no grass.
Very comfortable
Wyndham Garden San Antonio Riverwalk/Museum ReachVery comfortable accommodations, but nothing special for our pup. For us, unfortunately no breakfast included, just coffee. The walking distance to RiverWalk and Alamo is .9 miles, but through city streets. Really love the way SA keeps the area at RiverWalk safe and clean!
Not great
La Quinta by Wyndham RoswellNo grass on property for potty, dingy dirty floors, minimal interest from staff, and the breakfast was decent. That’s it.
Great waiter and good Tex-Mex!
Cafe Olegood food, fast service, our dog got water, staff seemed please to have her with us!
Not impressed
Maison Mouton Bed & BreakfastWe were looking forward to “famous happy hour” with a drink, and hors d’oeuvres, but were told they don’t do that anymore, even though it’s on their sign in the lobby. Room was quaint and comfortable even though the bathroom was 15° hotter. Comfortable sleeping, comfortable beds, we had a good night. We were expecting some type of special breakfast, indicative of the strong, cultural traditions of the area that were met with sausage, egg and pancakes. We’ve traveled to quite a few bed-and-breakfasts, and this one was disappointing.
