Friendly staff

La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Mobile - Tillman's Corner

We stopped here for one night. The room was fine. Nothing fancy and seemed clean. The grassy area was large but right by a wooded area that made me a little nervous. The biggest downfall was the layout for this hotel. My room was so far away and there aren’t many doors to get outside besides the front. I would suggest asking for a room near the side door.

Convenient

The Westin Kansas City at Crown Center

The Westin staff were all so nice. This hotel is centrally located and it seems like everything in only 10 min away in every direction. There was a nice grassy area for my dogs right outside my sliding door. There was no dog bed or treats but I didn’t ask for them either. My slider door had some issues and there is a daily parking charge of $20.

We loved Page!

La Quinta by Wyndham Page at Lake Powell

This felt like a brand new La Quinta! Everything was clean, the staff was friendly and there was a little area for our pups to use. It was sand but my dogs didn’t seem to mind at all. We would absolutely stay here again! Oh and they had a daily flavored water and a guest laundry area.

Lovely hotel

La Quinta by Wyndham St. George

This hotel was perfect! It was clean, there was plenty of grass for the pups to use, the staff was nice and it was near a highway for easy access. We would definitely stay here again.

Great room but no grassy area

Holiday Inn Express Farmington - Bloomfield an IHG Hotel

This hotel was clean, the staff was nice and it was off a major road for easy access to the town. There is no real grassy area. There are areas with rocks but you are near someone’s room window so it was a little odd.

Older rooms

Courtyard by Marriott Santa Fe

Our room smelled like someone smoked it in before, especially when I turned on the heat. They offered me another room but I was only staying for one night and I had already unloaded all my stuff. They didn’t offer a discount or anything else. It was $50 extra for my dogs which was excessive. The grassy area was fantastic though! There was some poop that previous dogs left. The lobby looks new but the rooms aren’t and are definitely dated. There is tile on the main floor so whenever a guest or housekeeper is rolling a bag or something, it is extremely loud and you can hear each one in your room. I couldn’t wait to leave this place. I wouldn’t stay at the hotel again.

Very clean room

Anchor Beach Inn

We stayed here for one night and it was the cleanest room we have stayed in yet. The staff upgraded us to a room with a view for free! While they do not have a grassy area for the dogs, it is literally 100ft from the beach. My dogs loved going there instead! The beach was quite empty too. Also, there is a restaurant that you can walk to that allows dogs on the patio and has great food!

The great escape

Crater Lake Gateway-Rocky Point Resort

This is a remote little escape from your traditional hotels. There are little cabins, literally in the woods. They have a restaurant that runs on the weekends from 5-9pm. It’s simple but has drinks. :). There was a microwave and fridge. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. My dogs had plenty of places to go. There were a few trails too. The staff was extremely nice. Yes, this is not glamorous. It’s basic and low cost. We were happy with this cabin in the woods. It’s right on the lake and the sunrise and sunsets were so peaceful.

You get what you pay for..

Hi-Tide Oceanfront Inn

First of all, the staff was super nice! I only paid $75 a night! The room was cozy and had a kitchen. The downsides were that there were stains on the carpet. They said they were in the process of updating the rooms. Also, there are rooms with a beach view and ones in a separate building. I didn’t care so much about the view so I opted to pay less. One thing the building w/o the view doesn’t have is a grassy pet area. Every morning and night we had to walk over to the other building to the grassy area. It was fine but would have been nice to have it at both buildings.

A place to sleep

La Quinta by Wyndham Portland NW

This hotel is in a very industrial area. It’s a short drive from parks, dinner and drinks. The hotel was clean and there was a grassy area. The grassy area is right beside a busy road so be aware. It was low cost and did the job. The staff was nice too.

A Perfect Place

Cowboy Village Resort

We loved the Cowboy Village! First, the cabins are so cute and cozy. They had everything thing we wanted: kitchen, laundry room, grassy area and space of our own. The staff was amazing from the second we got there. We would 100% stay there again and I have been telling all my friends and family about it. Oh, and you can walk just a few blocks to everything like a hike, shopping, dinner or drinks.

Great but...

La Quinta by Wyndham Boise Airport

The area had great parks near by. The room was clean. The staff was pleasant and friendly. My one complaint was my room was on the first floor right by the pool so it was quite loud in our room. I was only there for 2 nights so it wasn’t worth the change of rooms. Otherwise, we loved Boise a lot.

Great price, below average experience.

La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Salt Lake City Midvale

This place was a steal at $69 a night. It was located right off the interstate with a gas station and restaurants super close. The down side was that some of the staff were unpleasant yet some were nice, the hallway carpet had stains all over it, the area seemed a little sketchy, the grassy areas were small and unfortunately had many poop piles (come on fellow dog lovers). I was given a room on the first floor which was concerned for loading and unloading yet was super noisy. At least the rooms are cleaner than the hallway. The price was amazing though.

Dirt But Does The Job

Moab Bark Park

It was nice to have an area in town where my dogs could run free. They liked sprinting and chasing each other. The water was off. I guess it was off for winter. My dogs overall enjoy it!

We Got Lucky!

Canyonlands National Park

Today it was only 50 degrees so it was very comfortable for my dogs to hang in the car while we checked out the Canyonlands. I could see how this would be awful if it was hot out. They couldn’t really get out at all expect on paved areas. We had a long hike outside of the park so they were pretty good. The Canyonlands were beautiful! If possible, I would suggest not bringing them so you could enjoy the hikes throughout out the park.

Easy peasy

La Quinta by Wyndham Moab

This was our first time ever staying in a hotel. The staff made this visit easy peasy. The room was quite, the grassy area was more than enough and the staff was amazing. They loved my dogs, went above and beyond with helping me and the hotel location was very convenient.

For The Adventure Dog

Corona Arch

We loved this hike. It was pretty low traffic at 10 am on a Wed in October. It wasn’t too long, but it was enough of a challenge. Note: there are two possible issues. First the rope, my dogs slide a little but I helped them up a very steep area that has a rope. The way down was more challenged but we got low and made it slow and steady. Second, the ladder. There is an area around the ladder to the left that was totally doable. Overall we loved the hike and would recommend it.

A Little Dip In The Lake

Ken's Lake

There are signs at this lake that says the dogs must be on leash. At the lake, I let my dogs off leash. It was pretty rocky so if they really wanted to run, then they risked injury. The beach and place was pretty empty so they enjoyed running into the water.
