We loved it from the moment we pulled in until we checked out. Convenient to freeway travelers. Clean. Super cool vintage decor. And the most comfy bed on all our travels. It was so nice we’re now contemplating a trip to Tucson just for fun.

The issues are almost too many to list. Security. My partner locked himself out of the room. (His name was not on the reservation, nor was he present at check-in). He told the front desk that he needed a replacement key. They issued him a new key on the spot without checking his ID or contacting me. This happened twice with different staff.

Cleanliness. The bed’s head board was covered in some sort of oil. Looked like hair oil—you could see the impression of hair in the oil. Ew. Also, the laminate floor was filthy. I took a shower after walking with bare feet on the floor; when my feet got wet the water turned BLACK. Those floors haven’t been mopped in a very long time, if ever. Oh yeah, there was no hot water for shower. Fun.

I could go on about a bunch of other smaller things. But what’s the point? The place is not even close to clean. And they literally will give a key to your room to anyone who asks for one. Bring Clorox wipes and deadbolt the door.

The room was clean but pretty run down.

The staff was friendly. Room was nice and clean.
